What do you do when you’ve been a parent for over 30 years and you reach the stage where your youngest are teens and they don’t need you the same way they did when they were little? Your husband finally buys the Corvette he has always wanted and you start a new blog, Life After Minivans.

I married my high school sweetheart over 30 years ago and we had our first two daughters right away. Fast forward another 10 years or so and we had another daughter and then 4 years later we had our son. That’s how you end up with 4 children ranging in age from 31 to 13.

Now that our two youngest are 17 and 13 we find ourselves planning for our future as empty nesters and discovering what it’s like to have time for just the two of us again. Join us for our journey into our future.
